Syrian man released hours after abduction by Israeli forces in Quneitra countryside

Syrian state television reports that Israeli forces released a man hours after he was abducted while herding sheep outside the town of al-Rafid in the Quneitra countryside.

Separately, Israeli forces targeted the western outskirts of Beit Jinn in the Damascus suburbs with artillery shells, causing multiple fires in the area. The military also advanced into the village of Ufania in northern Quneitra.

Following a nearly 20-hour operation, Israeli forces withdrew from the Tal Ahmar area in northern Quneitra, returning towards the occupied territory, state TV reported.
