Two Palestinians have been killed and many wounded by an Israeli air strike that targeted the entrance of a residential building near al-Maghribi Street, central Gaza City.

At least two Palestinians have been killed and 10 wounded by Israeli attacks across Gaza in the last 24 hours, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry.

Israel has killed at least 1,320 people and wounded 4,385 in Gaza since the US-brokered “ceasefire” came into effect last October.

The ministry added that Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza since October 2023 has killed at least 73,456 people and wounded 174,496.

Al-Shifa Hospital said it had received two bodies this morning after an Israeli air raid on the entrance of a residential building.

Later, the hospital said it received three additional bodies and several wounded after an Israeli drone targeted a civilian car in Tel al-Hawa, southwest of Gaza City.

Gaza’s health ministry says that at least 1,300 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since a ceasefire was agreed for Gaza in October 2025.

Israel claims its forces killed Hamas fighter in air strike on Gaza City

The Israeli army says it has killed a person identified as Hamas commander Omar Mohammed Roshdy Saraj during an air strike on Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood.

In a statement, the Israeli army claimed without providing evidence that Roshdy Saraj managed weapon logistics for Hamas in the Gaza City area.

It added that another Hamas fighter was also killed in the same attack, without naming the victim.

Earlier, at least five Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza City since dawn, including two people who were killed in a morning strike on the entrance of a residential building and three others killed in an Israeli drone attack on a civilian car.

Hamas condemns Israeli attacks on Gaza, calls for international intervention

Hamas has issued a statement condemning recent Israeli attacks on Gaza and calling for “international, UN and popular action to isolate the occupation, hold its fascist leaders accountable, and take measures to protect our defenseless people”.

Hamas also reiterated its “demand that the mediators and guarantors of the ceasefire agreement assume their responsibilities” to prevent further aggression.

The statement said the ongoing attacks were not isolated incidents and amounted to “a systematic fascist escalation by the war criminal Netanyahu’s government”, confirming genocidal intent.

The group documented some of today’s reported attacks, including home demolitions in southern Gaza, fishermen who were shot at the coast and targeting of civilians. The attacks killed at least five Palestinians and injured several others, the statement said.

Israeli military raids several homes, arrests man in occupied West Bank

Israeli military forces have raided several homes at dawn during a raid on the town of Mithlon, south of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian news agency Wafa has reported.

Wafa quoted Palestinian sources as reporting that Israeli soldiers also arrested a young man, Fatih Al-Ashqar, near the municipal stadium in the city of Nablus.

• Israeli forces carried out demolition operations in the al-Saqi area of Birzeit, north of Ramallah.
• Israeli soldiers stormed the Aqbat Jabr camp south of Jericho, amid clashes. Local sources told Wafa that the soldiers used a number of military vehicles and fired stun grenades.
• A Palestinian man was arrested from Balata camp east of Nablus. Security and local sources told Wafa that Israeli special forces had infiltrated the camp, raided and searched a cafe, before arresting Qusay al-Hashash.
• Amnesty International USA has renewed its call to disclose the fate of Palestinian journalists Nidal al-Wahidi and Haitham Abdel Wahed, who were detained by Israeli occupation forces in October 2023.

Israeli army demolishes two-storey house in Nablus

Israeli forces have destroyed a house in the northern city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank using a bulldozer, Palestinian news agency Wafa reports.

Israeli authorities carried out 70 demolition operations in July, while targeting 39 Palestinian homes and 99 agricultural structures, according to the Wall and Colony Resistance Commission.

Palestinian families forced out of homes in Nablus have nowhere to go

Two residential buildings, comprising six apartments, have been leveled.

The Israelis allege that these homes were built without a permit and that this area has been under the control of the Israeli forces since the start of the year.

According to the UN Humanitarian Commission, Israeli forces have demolished more than 870 buildings – commercial, industrial or residential – in the occupied West Bank. More than 534 Palestinian children are now forcibly displaced as a result of the continued policy of demolition imposed by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank.

Some of the Palestinian families forced out of their homes say that they have nowhere to go. This is forced displacement by Israel.

Once they leave their homes, they have no other option but to rent a flat. But as a result of the deteriorating economic conditions in the occupied West Bank, these families cannot afford the rent.

That’s why they have no option. At the end of the day, they might end up living in a tent on the ruins of their homes.

Israeli authorities establish a new colony in Jenin

Israeli authorities have established a new colony named “Noa” south of other colonies which were built on Palestinian-owned land in Jenin, occupied West bank, Palestinian news agency Wafa reports.

Several Israeli ministers and Knesset members attended a ceremony marking the new colony.

The new colony comes amid escalating Israeli colony projects in the northern West Bank.

‘Most violent wave of escalation’ under way in occupied West Bank, says Israeli peace activist

Israeli colonst pogroms across the occupied West Bank have been normalized since October 7, 2023, while upcoming Israeli elections have incentivized far-right politicians to encourage such attacks, says an Israeli peace activist.

“Palestine is not a country that can control what is happening on the ground because the Israeli military is controlling what is happening on the ground,” Alon-Lee Green, cofounder of Standing Together, said.

“We’re seeing probably the most violent wave of escalation in the West Bank.”

Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch both accuse Israel of enabling colonst violence in the occupied territories. Human Rights Watch says more than 100 Palestinian communities have been fully or partially displaced since January 2023.

“I think [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu, [National Security Minister Itamar] Ben-Gvir and [Finance Minister Bezalel] Smotrich are hoping to gain votes by using this violence,” Green added.

US condemns Israeli colonst attack on NBC news crew in occupied West Bank

A US State Department spokesperson has condemned an attack by Israeli colonsts on an NBC News crew in the occupied West Bank that took place over the weekend.

“We condemn criminal violence by any party in the West Bank and call for investigations, arrests, and convictions, of those responsible,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

“We are in regular dialogue with partners about improving stability and security in the West Bank,” the spokesperson said, adding that the Trump administration is “monitoring the situation” because its highest priority is the “safety and security of Americans”.

Masked Israeli colonsts attacked the news crew on Saturday while they were interviewing a Palestinian woman who was driven from her home with her family by colonsts.

She was also injured in the incident, which took place in the West Bank town of Jalud.

Qatar says Israeli minister’s storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound ‘outrageous violation’, ‘unacceptable provocation’

Qatar has condemned Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir for storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound along with Israeli colonsts.

In a post on X, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the raid “an outrageous violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and an unacceptable provocation to the sentiments of millions of Muslims around the world”.

The statement added that attempts to change the “historical and legal status in Jerusalem and its sanctities are null and void under international law”.

The ministry said that continuing to violate the mosque will “fuel cycles of violence and escalation”. It called on “the international community to take urgent action to compel Israel to cease its ongoing violations against the Palestinian people and their sanctities”.

Israeli army-backed colonsts assault Palestinian woman, her child in occupied West Bank’s Burqa village

Amid ongoing pogroms targeting Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, Israeli colonsts in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, assaulted a woman and her child, according to the Wafa news agency.

The colonsts were protected by Israeli forces as they carried out the attack, the report said.

The head of the village council, Sayel Kanaan, told Wafa that colonsts invaded an agricultural structure east of the village where they assaulted a woman in her 50s with clubs and stones, which led her to bleed from the head and caused bruises. They also pepper sprayed the woman’s 10-year-old son.

Kanaan added that the colonsts also raided a house in the eastern part of the village, assaulted the women and children inside, and smashed its contents.

He told Wafa that Israeli forces detained several Palestinian men around the houses targeted by colonsts.

Colonst pogroms driven by Israeli parties ‘competing’ to be most brutal to Palestinians

Record levels of colonst violence, home demolitions and forced displacement are being driven by rivalry within Israel’s governing coalition, says Zachary Foster, an historian and editor-in-chief of Palestine Nexus.

“This is the most right-wing government in all of Israeli history,” Foster told Al Jazeera, with each party competing to be the most violent towards Palestinians. “That is how you win an election in Israel.”

The intensification of pogroms began in October 2023 and has not eased, he said. About 3,800 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from areas of the occupied West Bank under full Israeli control – about 60% of the West Bank known as Area C – over the past three years. An estimated 35,000 to 40,000 more were uprooted from the Nur Shams, Tulkarem and Jenin refugee camps.

Foster said the pressure to end the forced displacement will not come from within Israel.

“The change is not going to come from inside the house. It’s going to come from the outside,” he said.

That means sanctions, boycotts and divestment, he said, and coordinated action by governments, the United Nations, rights groups and unions.
