The Israeli military has issued a forced displacement order warning to residents of the Arab Salim municipality in southern Nabatieh.

In a post on X, Israeli military spokesman Ella Waweya shared a map marking a building in red and told residents to leave the area immediately, warning of an imminent strike.

She said the building was a Hezbollah facility and that the strike was in response to Hezbollah drones launched toward Israeli forces.

Israeli forces bomb 3 towns in southern Lebanon

There have been a series of Israeli air raids in southern Lebanon reported today.

The raids hit a building in Arab Salim that Israeli forces had threatened to strike earlier, as well as the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and the vicinity of the town of Kfar Reman.

Lebanon president calls new Israeli attacks ‘dangerous escalation’

Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun has accused Israel of a “persistent pattern” of targeting civilian sites following its latest strikes on southern Lebanon.

In a statement, Aoun said Israel’s attacks are a “dangerous escalation” that go “beyond the alleged military targets to purely civilian administrations and health centers”.

He cited the leveling of Ghandour Hospital and “severe” damage to the Ministry of Finance in Nabatieh governorate.

Aoun called on the United States to take “urgent action to stop these violations and hold their perpetrators accountable”.

Israeli army confirms bombing Lebanon hospital

The Israeli army says it struck a hospital in southern Lebanon, claiming the site was a Hezbollah command centre and was no longer used as a health facility.

Lebanese officials earlier said Israeli bombing destroyed Ghandour Hospital in Nabatieh al-Fawqa, with President Aoun condemning the attack on a “purely civilian” site.

The Israeli army claimed that Hezbollah members “involved in artillery and observation activities were identified operating from the command centre” in recent weeks.

The Israelis have been labeling hospitals as enemy command centers during all their wars in Gaza, now in Lebanon.

Israeli bombing hits southern Lebanese town

Israeli forces have carried out a bombing in the town of al-Mansouri in the Tyre district following an earlier wave of strikes in the area, Lebanon’s National News Agency reports.

An Israeli drone carried out a guided missile strike this afternoon, targeting a car near the Fakhr al-Din parking lot in Nabatieh, in southern Lebanon, the country’s national news agency NNA is reporting.

Several people were injured in the attack, it said.

The Israeli army has blown up several buildings in southern Lebanon in violation of a “ceasefire” reached in June.

The military said its attacks are a response to a Hezbollah explosive drone launched beyond the “yellow line” – an area Israel claimed as a “security zone” in occupied Lebanese territory.
