‘This conflict is far from over’
This isn't about a conflict: Netanyahu started a 12-day preemptive war on Iran on June 13, 2025, by claiming with no evidence that Tehran was accelerating its nuclear program. Three days later, he called on the US for help in the assassination of the Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei, knowing that Hezbollah would respond. In following six months, the Israeli Mossad and the American CIA were preparing the assassination. In the last month, Netanyahu vowed to attack Iran in 2026 again, which was a hint to us that there are attack plans. On February 28, 2026, Israeli fighter jets fired a barrage of thermobaric Hellfire-type missiles on the building where Khamenei was traced by the CIA. The nearby located Golestan Palace was damaged by shockwaves produced by these missiles. This prompted Hezbollah to vow for revenge. It is about a spillover of the resumption of the war on Iran, that Netanyahu began in June 2025, and resumed on February 28th., into Lebanon. The issue of what has been described as "conflict" is not Hezbollah, the link Hezbollah-Iran or the link Hamas-Hezbollah, as they are to divert attention away from what has been regarding Iran since 2010: In Menachem Begin's words" from 1968, a year after the Israelis secretly managed to develop three nuclear weapons: "Make sure that no enemy has a reactor." In modern-day language: "Make sure that Iran has no nuclear program." Netanyahu has dragged Lebanon not just in his war on Iran but in his 30+ years obsession of ensuring that the Israelis are the only nuclear power in the Middle East. |
