Bodies recovered of two people killed in Israeli attack in southern Lebanon

Two people have been killed in an Israeli drone attack in southern Lebanon, despite a “ceasefire” and a US-mediated framework agreement.

According to Lebanon’s official National News Agency, they were killed when an Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle in the Kafr Rumman region in southern Lebanon yesterday.

First aid teams recovered the bodies of 17-year-old Hussein Shukruon and Ahmed Rumani from the town of Deir ez-Zahrani.

Israel’s attacks in southern Lebanon continue despite the framework agreement signed between the two countries on June 26, which envisages the gradual withdrawal of the Israeli army from occupied Lebanese territories.
