Netanyahu a ‘serpent’ that ‘suckered’ the US into war, says Iran’s FM

Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi has called Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu a “serpent”, saying that in an address to Israelis in Hebrew, the Israeli PM laughs about how he “influenced” the United States while in English, he publicly praises Trump’s leadership.

He also claimed that Netanyahu “suckered” the US administration into a war on Iran “on behalf of Israel”.

Netanyahu speaks in his language when something is not meant for the global audience.

But, why is Araghchi not saying why he liken Netanyahu with 'serpent'?

In the Avesta and Ferdowsi’s epic Shāhnāmeh, the tyrant Zahhak (historically rooted in Aži Dahāka, the "snake-man") grew serpents from his shoulders. The serpent here symbolizes tyranny, usurpation, moral corruption, and spiritual darkness (satanism).

Turkey's FM calls Netanyahu a ‘threat’ to international security

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan says the international system must fight against the “threat of Netanyahu”.

Fidan said Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has become an enemy of humanity after the genocide in Gaza, while calling for urgent international action to halt his policies.

Israel has been at least a regional threat since 1968, when Menachem Begin at the UNGA told the member states "One must make sure that no enemy has a reactor," while no member state but the Israelis saw in Arab member states an enemy because of the six-day war in June 1967.

Begin's statement became a doctrine carrying his name. It is no other than a directive to attack preemptively, nowadays every development that may not be a threat, but to the Israelis.

The Israelis have been a nuclear rival of Iran since 2010, and is determined to ensure that they are the only nuclear power in the region.
