Nine Israeli army vehicles advancing on southwestern Syria’s Wadi Raqqad: State TV

Israeli forces in Syria are advancing with nine military vehicles into Wadi Raqqad in the southwest governorate of Daraa, according to the state-owned Syrian News Channel.

The Israeli advance follows regular raids into Syria since the start of the US and Israeli war on Iran more than six months ago.

Blast reported at Syrian army site in Ayyash, Deir ez-Zor province

An explosion has taken place in Syria’s Ayyash area, located in the western Deir ez-Zor province, according to local media. The Deir ez-Zor governorate said the blast took place at a Syrian army weapons depot in the area.

The blast had reportedly caused injuries.

Israeli forces shell agricultural land southwest of Damascus

Israeli forces are shelling agricultural land on the outskirts of Beit Jinn, southwest of Damascus..

There were no immediate reports of casualties or material damage.

Israeli forces had been advancing into Syrian territory with nine military vehicles in the southwest governorate of Deraa, according to the state-owned Syrian News Channel. They reportedly arrested a shepherd after the incursion into Wadi Raqqad at dawn earlier today.

One killed, another injured in explosion at former weapons depot in Syria’s Darayya: Syrian authorities

An explosion at a building in Darayya, in the suburbs of Damascus, has killed one person and injured another person, reports the Rif Dimashq governorate, which covers the Damascus countryside.

The governorate said the building hit by the blast was previously used as a weapons depot by the former government of ousted Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, as well as by Lebanon’s Hezbollah, an ally of the former leader.

The blast comes after a separate explosion occurred at another weapons depot in the western Deir ez-Zor province, according to the Deir ez-Zor governorate.
