Israel arrests four accused of ‘supporting the enemy’

The Israeli police have announced the arrest of four people from Hebron in the occupied West Bank accused of supporting Iran during the ongoing war.

The individuals – three men and one woman – face charges including “words of praise, sympathy, encouragement of violent acts, and support or identification with a hostile organization,” said Israeli police.

It said one of the detainees is a legal adviser with the Palestinian Authority who shared a social media post praising the late Iranian leader Khamenei.
